Hello,

I'm an engineer with 5 years of mechanical and R&D experience. I worked in a biomechanics lab at Stanford for a little over a year then worked at a medical device consulting firm called Veranex for four years.
At Veranex I was the technical lead on multiple projects: designing and building prototypes, collecting and analyzing performance data, testing prototypes on synthetic tissue and live animals, writing detailed technical reports, and presenting technical progress to clients and internal teams on a weekly basis. I was part of small project teams, in which I had a large technical and leadership role, and big project teams, in which I was a contributor to a complex system.
I have experience with a wide range of processes including: mechanical testing, modeling in Solidworks, FEA, scripting in MATLAB and Python, rapid prototyping, metal and woodworking, data acquisition, 3D printing, and computer vision. You can see examples of projects using these skills in the "Portfolio" tab above.

I am also a competitive middle distance runner. I qualified for the US Olympic Trials in the 1500m in June 2024. You can find more information in the "Olympic Year" tab above.
